We believe in Safety and it's the first thing we cover in ALL of our courses.
On the shooting range, we have a ratio of two students to one instructor.
One-to-one for new or inexperienced shooters.
Eye and Hearing protection is REQUIRED on the range! Eye protection is REQUIRED in the reloading courses!
We recommend you purchase your own prior to class.
For safety reasons class size is limited. All of our courses are By Appointment Only!

Nevada CCW Permit Certification & Firearms Safety Courses
To legally carry a concealed handgun in Nevada, residents and visitors must have a valid Nevada CCW permit. However, visitors from a state who's CCW permit is recognized by Nevada, may carry a concealed firearm with their out of state permit. Be aware, your CCW permit and proper identification MUST be in your possession at all times you are carrying a concealed firearm. See the "Frequently Asked Questions" section of this web site for additional information.
Initial Certification Course 5, 6, 7 minimum of 8 hours, $150 $100
This course is approved by the Nevada Sheriff and Chief's Association and provides the classroom, safety and range training required by the state of Nevada to apply for your CCW permit. You must range qualify on the firearms you want listed on your permit, ie. Revolver and/or Semi-automatic.
Renewal Certification Course 5, 6, 7 minimum of 4 hours, $75 $50
This course is approved by the Nevada Sheriff and Chief's Association and provides the classroom, safety and range training required by the state of Nevada to renew your CCW permit. You must range qualify on the firearms you want listed on your permit, ie. Revolver and/or Semi-automatic.
Firearms Additions Course 5, 6, 7 Add the Revolver, or Semi-Automatic to your permit. $50 $25
This course is approved by the Nevada Sheriff and Chief's Association as required by the state of Nevada to add firearms to your CCW permit. You must range qualify on the firearms you want listed on your permit, ie. Revolver and/or Semi-automatic.

Utah Concealed Firearm Permit Certification & Firearms Safety Course
This course is approved by the Utah Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI) and provides the training required to apply for the state of Utah Concealed Firearm Permit.
Initial Certification Course 4, 7, 9
minimum of 4 hours $50 $35 Shooting range qualification is not required, but we recommend and can provide a live course of fire for an additional charge of 2, 9

Combined with the Nevada CCW Course 4, 7, 9 minimum of 9 1/2 hours
$25 $20
Shooting range qualification is included as part of the Nevada course.
The Nevada CCW course covers a lot of the requirements of the Utah CFP course, including safety. The additional time is required to teach the material specific to the Utah course, including Utah law.
Florida CCW Qualification Course
Attendance of any of the following three (3) firearms courses we conduct, qualifies as training for the Florida CCW permit:
- Nevada Initial CCW course
- NRA Basic Shooting Course for Pistol
- NRA First Steps Orientation for Pistol
When attending any of these courses, our price for the Florida CCW permit training and paperwork is a $5 Notary fee when conducted by JD (Notary Public state of Nevada). If taught by Monty, you must go to a Notary and pay them the Notary fee. We give you a packet containing all the paperwork required to apply for the Florida permit, which requires your signature be notarized on the application.

Law Enforcement Safety Act (LEOSA) Firearms Qualification Course
This course is approved by the Nevada Sheriff's and Chief's Association for firearms qualification of Nevada Law Enforcement retirees in compliance with HR218, the Law Enforcement Safety Act of 2004.
The initial training is done by your department. We conduct the renewal training for Nevada only, which includes range qualification. You must apply for renewal with the county Sheriff where your permit was issued. For additionl information if you moved, contact your local Sheriff.

NRA Courses
NRA First Steps Orientation for Pistol or Rifle 5, 7 minimum of 3 hours, $75 $50
This course is designed for new gun owners and beginning shooters to provide a hands-on introduction to safe handling and proper operation of their firearm. The goal of this course is to provide shooters with an introduction to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to own and use a specific pistol or rifle model safely. This course is also great for teaching gun safety to children and young adults.
NRA Basic Shooting Course for Pistol or Rifle 5, 7 minimum of 10 hours, $150 $100
This course teaches the safety principles and helps you develop the knowledge, skills, and attitude that is needed to successfully pursue you're shooting interests. Whether you are interested in recreational shooting, competition, hunting, gun collecting, historical reenactment, home safety, or personal protection -- the basics are where to start! This is a great course for shooters with limited experience, new shooters, or shooters who want a refresher course providing training in the following areas:
- safe firearm handling
- firearm parts and operation
- ammunition and its function
- shooting fundamentals and an opportunity to develop them on the range
- how to select, clean and store a firearm
- review of various activities available to help participants develop and improve their shooting skills

NRA Metallic Cartridge or Shotgun Shell Reloading Course
Because it is one of the most technically-oriented activities in the shooting sports, the safe reloading of ammunition is a skill that must be carefully learned. There are many benefits of reloading, but two of them are: It's less expensive to reload your own then purchase factory loaded ammunition and you can develop a load that can be tailored to the type of shooting you do and the firearm you use.
Eye protection is REQUIRED in this course while handling components and working with reloading equipment. We recommend you purchase your own prior to class. Since we will be indoors, clear lenses are suggested.

Other Training Courses (non-NRA)
Firearms Safety Course $30
This four hour course teaches you the safety rules, how to safetly handle firearms, ammunition usage and storage, selecting and purchasing firearms, Nevada gun laws, plus other valuable information.
Anyone who is interested in learning firearm safety, children and young adults should attend this course.
This course is classroom only and if you would like to go to the range for additional training, there is an additional $25 fee.

Marksmanship Course 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 $50 $25 per hour
Work with an instructor on the shooting range to improve your shooting skills.
We ALL develop bad shooting habits and here is where you can correct them. This is a great course to work on your problem areas and become a better shooter. We will cover the areas you want, which could include reviewing and working on shooting fundamentals, drawing your firearm from a holster or others where you want, or need improvement.
Firearms Cleaning Course $25
Learn how to properly clean and maintain your firearm.
Additional items needed for course: Firearm manual and gun cleaning supplies.
If you don't have either of these, contact us prior to your class for information on where to get the manual and to discuss what you need to purchase to clean and lubricate your firearm.

Additional Information
Depending on the weather conditions and time of year, our classroom session, range session and lunch break could be rearranged. Be sure to dress appropriately, as we shoot outdoors in all kinds of weather, including rain, snow, wind, heat and cold. The range portion of our training will be rescheduled if the weather conditions become bad enough. All training requirements will be successfully completed in accordance with the laws and/or guidelines of the certifying entity, be it the state of Nevada, state of Utah, state of Florida, US federal government, or the NRA before you receive your course certificates. In accordance with Nevada state law, the initial CCW course requires a minimum of eight (8) hours training and CCW renewal course requires a minimum of four (4) hours training to apply for your Nevada CCW permit. In accordance with Utah state law, the initial CFP course requires a minimum of four (4) hours training to apply for your Utah Concealed Firearms permit. Please see the "Frequently Asked Questions" section of this web site for additional information.
By Nevada law, the Sheriff's Department has up to 120 days to issue your CCW permit. Be sure to attend the renewal certification course and submit your renewal application to the Sheriff within 120 days before your permit expires. If your permit expires during the processing of your renewal, you may NOT carry a Concealed firearm until your new permit has been issued and is in your possession.

WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM!
Exceptions to firearms in the classroom:
Portions of certain courses.
Students will be instructed when to bring their unloaded firearms into the classroom.

Metallic Cartridge and Shotgun Shell Reloading Course
You will be making ammunition. Do NOT bring any in!
We shoot outdoors year round. Please dress appropriately.
